Let's Talk Artwork...
So, I feel the need to define what photomanipulation is, though I'm very certain most people already know...still...can't help the nagging sense that if I don't post this somewhere, it might look like I'm taking credit for others work - which is just very uncool.
Photomanipulation is the art of taking a normal photograph, and then using computer programs, or other methods, to alter the image. Example: Priest photomanipulation #1 (which is currently on the front page of this website) is a composite of the following original images by Raymond Swanland and Todd Plitt (who doesn't seem to have a website at the moment, apologies):

Then (this is where I come in), a visual marriage of the two (with some additional elements added):

And whaLAH!! Bob's yer uncle...er...something like that. Anyway, I just wanted to give credit where credit is most definitely due. Raymond Swanland is an amazing artist and I highly recommend a side trip through his beautiful and inspiring website...especially for you art buffs who happen to run across this page. I wish I could point you to more of Todd Plitt's work...unfortunately, this will have to do for now. *wink*
